Profile

Joined HORIBA in 2013, Administration Department. Graduated from Doshisha University. Born in Hyogo prefecture, Japan

“I want to achieve my goal of competing in an Olympic Games. I don't want to have any regrets,” said Naho Adachi upon choosing to continue to pursue archery as a working adult. As a university student, she was so talented that she won a bronze medal in the team competition during a world student archery championship, and she placed second in an all-Japan archery championship. Wishing to both work and do archery, she consulted with Hayashi, her coach on the university team, and decided to join HORIBA. Her present goal is to rank sixth or higher in a world archery championship and to be chosen as a member of the Japanese archery team. She shows her high motivation to be chosen for the national team by improving the quality of her practice to make up for the shorter practice time she has now than she had in her student days. Having developed a friendly rivalry with Hayashi, she is working hard to realize her dream.
