HandScan

Overview

The HandScan is a hand-held controller which will set or scan the wavelength of your monochromator, open or close shutters, operate motorized slits, rotate motorized grating turrets and move motorized mirrors from up to 10 feet away! The HandScan requires the SPEX232 interface or the DataScan controller.

The user interacts with the HandScan through direct action keys and menus. The LCD panel prompts for the choices and parameter inputs, providing easy control of scanning, acquisition, and accessories.
