CRSD-7000
Overview
Able to operate as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with VETS-7000NT for full emissions-testing capability, CRSD-7000 guides a driver through test cycles by graphically displaying:
- Scheduled speed
- Actual speed
- Shift points
- Tolerance for speed deviation
The system interfaces to any dynamometer by accepting analog or pulsed input signals for speed. Other analog and digital signals allow:
- Initiation of user-defined events.
- Charting of scheduled and actual speed on a recorder.
- Data acquisition from an optional weather station and vehicle signal box.
Users can configure the driver's display by specifying display colors along with data for both alphanumeric and graphic-meter displays. Flexible screen layouts include:
- Full-screen driver's trace - entire screen is filled with driver's trace.
- Partial-screen trace - part of the screen is saved for user-selectable displays.
As a full-function stand-alone system, CRSD-7000:
- Includes a test editor for creating and modifying driver's traces, shift schedules, and event files.
- Saves 10 Hz data in test-result files on disk.
- Replays test cycles using saved data.
- Reports test results using Excel spreadsheet (provided by customer).
A LAN interface allows full control by a Host system such as VETS-7000NT.
Features
Application
- Warm-up cycles
- Vehicle emissions testing
Features
- Basic test schedules - target speed patterns - meet worldwide statutory regulations for emission and fuel-consumption tests.
- Easy-to-configure screen can display:
- Test data - error time, accumulated distance, actual speed, time into the test, time into the phase, remaining test time
- Weather station data - barometric pressure and both dew-point and dry-bulb temperatures
- Engine data - rpm and manifold vacuum
- Other user-defined signals
- Test data - error time, accumulated distance, actual speed, time into the test, time into the phase, remaining test time
- Meter windows provide graphic display of selected analog signals.
- Configuration editor allows selection of drive-speed marker, display colors, and speed-axis orientation so that zero can appear either on the left or right.
- Test editor makes it easy to edit and create vehicle tests using tables and graphics.
- Coast-down timer measures time between user-defined fixed-speed intervals.
- Replay function makes it easy to compare differences between scheduled and actual speed. Users can "fast-forward" to specific points in the test.
- WindowsNT operating system (OS) provides a familiar operating environment.
- Choice of language - Japanese, English, French or German -- can be selected during specification.
- Color LCD (1,024 x 768) provides high-resolution display. Alternative monitors and displays can be supported by the PC (optional).
- Wireless (infrared) driver's pendant allows easy test setup while sitting in the test vehicle.
- More than 100 CRSD-7000 systems are installed and operational around the world.
Options
- "Repeater monitor" to display the trace in the Control room
- 17" or larger driver's monitor (standard is 13" LCD)
- Vehicle signal box with sensors for engine RPM and manifold vacuum
- Weather station with sensors for barometric pressure and both dew-point and dry-bulb
temperatures
