HORIBA booth at the MEGA Symposium

The seventh MEGA Symposium took place in Baltimore, MD 19-22 August, 2008 to address issues related to power plant air emissions through the combined efforts of four key industry players - the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). The attendance of 924 was more than the previous symposium. Over 70 exhibitors showcased the state-of-the-art methods for reducing SOx, NOx, particulate, mercury, and toxics emissions from fossil-fueled boilers. HORIBA Instruments, Inc. Process & Environmental displayed the XE multi-gas analyzer for Continuous Emissions Monitoring, the PG-250 portable gas analyzer, and the INM-700 in-situ NOx and O2 analyzer. We hope that all who attended enjoyed the presentations and exhibits, and we look forward to seeing you again at MEGA in 2010.
