Introducing the revolutionary LA-950 Method Expert
15 avril 2010
Irvine, CA - HORIBA has identified customer training and knowledge as a core value of its particle characterization business. To that end HORIBA introduces the world’s first interactive, data-driven method development wizard – the Method Expert. HORIBA is proud to be the first PSA instrument manufacturer to provide this type of revolutionary software.
The goal of the Method Expert is to take the challenge out of method development by guiding the user through a series of short measurements designed to identify the best measurement and calculation conditions. Each measurement features a specific parameter and provides an explanation of the test purpose and procedure as well as Expert Advice for interpreting the results. Parameters tested include:
- Refractive index selection
- Ultrasonic dispersion
- Concentration
- Circulation pump speed
With the Expert Advice, users will select the best conditions for their material which in turn automatically generates a sequence file providing one-button operation for the measurement of future samples. By engaging the user more fully in the method development process HORIBA transfers its expert knowledge in particle size analysis to the user ensuring the best possible experience. The state-of-the-art LA-950 particle size analyzer already has a reputation for innovation and will continue to lead the way with the revolutionary Method Expert.
