Environmental Awareness Class

We want to convey the importance and fascination of analysis to many people and enable them to feel that environmental problems and mysterious creatures’ sensors  are closely related to our lives.  Based on this "Omoi (conviction)"of our employees, we launched events involving hands-on environmental experiments for children in 1985.

In 2010, we started a biodiversity program.  Using our company’s equipment, we conduct experiments to experience the senses of animals, providing participants with the opportunity to learn new things about human senses and the wonders that are around us.
In the fiscal year ended December 31, 2009, 10 classes which were attend by 278 people in total. 
At this point, these classes are held only in Japan.

  • Program: Creatures' Sensors are full of wonders

This program is for early elementary grades and takes about 90 minutes.
We offer participants the opportunity to experience the senses of creatures with participants’ own sensibilities and our company’s equipment. 

  • Program：Let’s see how dirty the air is

This program is for late elementary grades and takes about 90 minutes.
We conduct experiments to measure invisible air pollution using specialized equipment.   This program provides opportunities for learning about environmental issues as we consider what we can do for friendly relationships with the earth.
