
Foundation Stone Ceremony for HORIBA Paris Saclay New Facility

On September 15th 2011, President HORIBA welcomed government officials to celebrate the foundation stone of HORIBA new facility in the Paris Saclay cluster.
In the presence of Mr. Guyot, General Director of the Grand Paris Corporation and Mr. Veltz, President of the Paris Saclay Public Development Board, representing together Mr. Maurice Leroy, Minister of Urban Development in charge of Grand Paris, Mr. Lamy, Mayor of Palaiseau and Member of Parliament and Mr. Guedj, President of the Council of the Essonne District, the ceremony brought together more than130 guests.
The new facility will serve as a HORIBA R&D centre, with a strong focus on optics, and also as the headquarter of HORIBA in Europe, consolidating nearly 400MEUR and 1700 people, about one third of the total HORIBA Group, with major activities in the Automotive and Medical markets.
