Exhibition of JSCLA and JSLM, Japan

2010 Exhibition of Japanese Society of Clinical Laboratory Automation (JSCLA) and Japanese Laboratory Medicine (JSLM) held in Kobe from October 7 to 9. Antsense Rose, the blood glucose analyzer, LT-130, our new CRP analyzer, Microsemi lines, our POCT CBC instruments are exhibited in our booth. 230 people visited our booth and had a good communication with our sales reps.

HORIBA Medical start to promote the catch phrase “For Medical Analysis--- HORIBA Medical as whole blood POCT” that means “HORIBA Medical focuses on the whole blood POCT system" using the brochures, the poster and the name tags in this exhibition. On the second day, Art Horiba visited the another booths of the companies that have good business relationship with HOR and communicated a lot of key persons, we could start the first step for new business.

At the same time, 42^nd annual congress of JSCLA, we had a seminar on October 9 under the theme of medical safety in the blood glucose measurement in the ward in order to promote our Antsense Rose, the POCT blood glucose analyzer. In it, the nurse, a medical technologist, and a physician give a lecture. The medical technologist explained how they contribute to the nurses and physicians who have the risk of the medical accident through the blood glucose measurement and an insulin injection, by conducting a maintenance and quality control for blood glucose analyzers. Keio University and Nippon Med. School gave nice questions to lectures, and the synthesis discussion was performed by the chairmanship of Dr. Matsuo of the Tenri Hospital.
