INDIA, HEMATOLOGY AND HORIBA

Year 2010 marks a very important date for HORIBA India Pvt. Ltd. with opening of our new HORIBA Medical India branch office out of Delhi following collective decision of Mr. Bertrand de CASTELNAU, Mr. Stephane ROUGALE, Mr. Olivier POU and Mr. Yuichi MORUGA. Indeed after the successful distribution collaboration with bioMerieux India since 10 years, both companies decided to transfer hematology business to HORIBA Medical India in a timely manner per region starting with region North as of April 1^st 2010. West, South and East regions transfer shall follow respectively in July, October and December. Target shall be to transfer complete 1,000 instruments base by end of 2010 with a potential business of 2,5 Million Euro by year 2011.

 HORIBA Medical India already consists in a team of 9 people that will rapidly become 18 people by end of 2010. This successful business transfer is the result of a long registration process, hard work from the existing HORIBA India (P) Ltd. Nehru Place office team together with our long time Horiba India Liaison Office team - Mr. Amit MALIK, Mr. Mukesh Kumar SINGH and Mr. Brice PROUVE - as well as careful study of India market potential to respond to the 20% IVD growth per year.

Our new HORIBA Medical office in New Delhi reinforces HORIBA belief in improving customer support and proximity and shall help meeting India huge promising market. Long life, joy and fun to HORIBA Medical India!
