New President for HORIBA Medical

Since April 2010, Mr. Atsushi Horiba, Chairman of the HORIBA Group and the Supervisory Board of HORIBA ABX SAS have decided to appoint Mr. Bertrand de CASTELNAU President of HORIBA ABX SAS, key entity of the Medical Segment, also called HORIBA Medical.

Thus, he will continue to be responsible for developing our business activity around the world and to ensure the sustainability of our performance. With a 6 years "horibarian" experience, Bertrand de CASTELNAU joined the company in 2004 as International Commercial Director, and was appointed during  2007 CEO of HORIBA ABX SAS and leader of the Medical Segment.

As a reminder, today the Medical Segment is a key player in the "in vitro" diagnostic industry with about 1000 medical horibarians based across 5 continents, generating 180MEuros of yearly turnover in 2009.
