HORIBA Medical launches new hematology analyser
2 March 2010
The new ABX Micros ES60 hematology analyser from HORIBA Medical is the perfect combination of intuitive use and innovative technology.
Specially designed for point of care clinics, laboratories and emergency services, the next generation of the ABX Micros contains all the functions needed to manage results securely and easily through its new integrated workstation. Sleek and compact, the ABX Micros ES60 fits neatly onto the bench top and can process up to 60 samples an hour. Its small workspace footprint makes the ABX Micros ES60 ideal for specialist clinics and point of care situations where a fast turnaround of hematology results can make a real difference to patient waiting times and outcomes.
The ABX Micros ES60 can handle micro-samples (10µL) in open and closed tube versions, processing 18 parameters, CBCs and 3 part differential analysis. For ease of use, an integrated barcode reader provides secure identification of patient samples, QC and reagents to prevent data transcription errors and speed up workflow.
The new integral touch screen with virtual keyboard provides control of all analysis parameters and access to detailed patient results on a large full colour display. The operating system has capacity for 1000 patient results and USB connectivity gives the option for downloading QC target values, as well as archiving valuable patient and QC reports. For added convenience, an integrated ticket printer produces full data print-outs, including PLT, RBC and WBC curves.
