The new Pentra C200 compact chemistry analyser

HORIBA Medical has launched its new Pentra C200 compact chemistry analyser. Designed as an economical option for smaller sized laboratories, the Pentra C200 incorporates standards usually only found in larger systems. It combines a high degree of automation, ergonomics and quality of results into one compact system.
Within the Pentra C200, HORIBA Medical has used the highest technical design principles to ensure only the highest quality of results is attained. The new system features the same highly reliable ISE electrodes as those found within the proven ABX Pentra 400. It also combines the ABX Pentra reagent cassettes and internal barcode reader to make reagent identification and checking automatic and error free.
The Pentra C200 operates via a ‘plug and play’ concept for reagents, samples, cuvettes and waste management. For example, the analyser’s two 96-cuvette rack capacity combined with fully automated loader minimises cuvette management. All of this, in addition to positive sample identification via an internal barcode reader, enables highly efficient ‘walk-away’ batch analyses and offers complete peace of mind for the operator. The large colour touch screen display also provides the operator with an instant update of system and analytical status.
