LEAN working with HORIBA Medical technology

Constantly having to adapt to the changing reality of clinical laboratories, the Laboratori Clìnic de l’Hospitalet-Cornellà, Spain has anticipated operational changes and, by planning ahead, has developed a LEAN laboratory organisation model which enables haematology to operate independently of the rest of the laboratory.

 Incorporating analysis, validation, as well as sorting and archiving technology from HORIBA Medical, the Clinical Analysis Department at L’Hospitalet-Cornellà has been able to create a relaxed working atmosphere which offers quality haematology diagnostics to over 2000 patients a day.
