Technology for Improved Haematology at IBMS Congress 2011

At IBMS Congress 2011 on Stand F4, haematology specialists HORIBA Medical will give exclusive demonstrations of its newest product and the latest innovation in computer-assisted microscopy for haematology, HemaCAM^®. Increasing diagnostic quality through the automated analysis of blood smears, HemaCAM^® significantly reduces workloads and simplifies the creation of a quick and objective differential blood count.

Also at IBMS Congress 2011, HORIBA Medical will be presenting the results and accompanying poster of an analyser comparison study commissioned by Spire Healthcare. Comparing the ABX Micros ES 60 and Sysmex PocH-100i, the study was conducted to determine whether the granulocyte count of a 3-part differential analyser correlates well when compared to the neutrophil count of other instruments and methodologies. Specially designed for Point-of-Care clinics, laboratories and emergency services, the ABX Micros ES 60 contains all the functions needed to manage results securely and easily through its integrated workstation.
