The new reagent plant in Montpellier

Our President, Atsushi Horiba, accompanied by a large number of distinguished guests, has inaugurated the new reagent plant in Montpellier. At the ceremony Atsushi Horiba underlined the importance of the Medical Segment within the HORIBA Group, which is the only haematology company of comparable size in Europe, with annual sales of over 6,000 systems worldwide and current annual production of some 6,000 tonnes of reagents.
 The new plant, which has now begun production, has an annual capacity of 13,000 tonnes of reagents. The 4,400m_ unit represents an investment of 8 million Euros and will serve to strengthen the quality level of the brand’s entire product range while equally providing an improved level of service to our clients.
