Filter Range For Qdot™ Applications
7 March 2004
Glen Spectra is pleased to announce the release of a new range of twelve filter sets which are optimised for the imaging of QDot™ semiconductor nanocrystals. These sets address the problems of auto-fluorescence and photo-bleaching in biological samples by the use of a novel excitation filter that excites the quantum dots while blocking UV energy, which produces unwanted auto-fluorescence. The dichroic remains the same for all QDot™ sets and the emission filters are designed for each individual QDot™ to give excellent discrimination and superior image quality.
The range includes filter sets designed for single and multi-colour labelling applications. The XF300 and XF310 filter sets include all the filters required for use with all QDot™ conjugates for single and multi-colour labelling respectively and are ideal tool kits for this exciting range of fluorophores. The remainder of the sets are optimised for individual conjugates.
All the sets are available in sizes to fit all microscope holders/cubes.
