Glen Spectra is pleased to announce a leap forward in Filter technology with the release of 3rd Millennium filters. These filters combine a new patent-pending, hermetic physical assembly with Alpha Filter technology resulting in filters with unprecedented spectral performance and environmental stability.

At the heart of each 3rd Millennium filter is a radically new method of sealing the filter components that eliminates optical epoxies. Combined with ALPHA Technology and the use of highly purified fused silica substrates, the elimination of polymeric adhesives leads to lower auto-fluorescence, improved transmitted wavefront, improved heat tolerance and longer life. These improved materials give superior signal-to-noise and imaging characteristics, attributes critical to demanding applications.
