UV Green-Red Conversion Set
The filter set for UV green-red conversion is used for fluorescence real-time imaging of proteins such as Kaede, Eos, and Kikumi, which change color from green to red when exposed to UV light. The set includes seven filters which allow for both green and red visualization, as well as UV conversion. This technique is useful in live cell applications as an optical marking technique for studying cell dynamics. The set was designed in collaboration with Atsushi Miyawki for imaging the photoconversion of Coral Hue Kaede, a coral reef protein available from MBL International Corporation (Miyawki, A., Ando, R., et al. (1999) PNAS, 99, 12651-12656).
Products
For fluorescence real-time imaging of Kaede protein with color change from green to red when exposed to UV light. This set allows viewing of both green & red fluorescence & UV conversion.
