Spectromicroscopy beamline (ELETTRA - Trieste - Italy)
HORIBA Jobin Yvon realised 4 Padmore type monochromators for Trieste (Italy) synchrotron centre ELETTRA. Hereafter are presented the main characteristics of these four monochromators.
ESCA Microscopy beamline
- Two gratings 600 and 1200 g/mm in SIC CVD with a AU or Ni coating to over the range 250-1200 eV.
- Exit arm 2380 mm.
Spectromicroscopy beamline
- Three gratings [600 g/mm Au coating, 600 g/mm Ni coating and 1200 g/mm Ni coating SiC CVD blanks] to cover the range 20-300 eV.
- Resolving power greater than 3000 over the complete spectral range.
Gas-Phase Photoemission beamline
- 5 gratings [400 - 800 and 3 of 1200 g/mm SiC CVD blank with Au or Ni coating] to cover the spectral range 20-1250 eV.
- Calculated resolving power greater than 10000 over the complete range.
Circulary Polarized Light beamline
- Double monochromator : Padmore (grazing incidence) and normal incidence.
- 2 spherical gratings [1200 and 2400 g/mm Al+MgF2] in normal incidence configuration to cover the range 5-35 eV.
- 4 spherical gratings [3 of 1050 g/mm and 1 of 620 g/mm SiC CVD blank with Au coating] in Padmore configuration to cover the range 30-1200 eV.
