Mass Flow Checker

Overview

When there is a suspected problem with a mass flow controller (SEC), it is necessary to check the power source, output signal, control signal, cabling and the SEC itself for malfunctions. In order to determine the cause of the problem. The MFT-20 can drive the SEC and monitor its input and output voltages, while carrying out the necessary control functions to determine if the SEC is operating properly. This allows the user to determine if the source of a problem is the SEC itself or the power source, before removing the SEC from the equipment piping. An internal potentiometer enables the engineer to control of the SEC independent of the system control signals.

Features

  • Enables easy checking of the mass flow controller without removing from the gas panel / installation.
  • No power source required, uses the normal mfc electrical connection.
  • Can open and close the valve using the valve override function.
  • Auto-zero function is available (only for the SEC, which features an auto-zero option).
