We value collaborative and confidential relationships with our suppliers in consideration of low-impact global environment and society.  In addition, with a view to enhancing relationships with our suppliers of the inside and outside the country, we actively operate supply chain management, realize frequent communication, and implement activities for mutual growth.

  1. Partnerships
    We construct long-term confidential relationship with co-existence and co-prosperity through mutual cooperation.
  2. Open and fair transactions
    We enhance relationships of the inside and outside the country, make an appropriate and independent selection focusing on quality, delivery, cost, environmental response, and promote open and fair transactions.
  3. Environmental concerns
    We establish “Green Procurement Guideline”, and promote procurement of environmentally-friendly components and materials.
  4. Confidentiality of information
    We will never release the confidential information obtained by us in the course of transactions without consent of our suppliers and/or customers.

Requirements to our supplier

HORIBA expect supply chain including our suppliers to conform to the followings in order that we fulfill our social responsibility in business deployment.

  1. Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
    We are asking our suppliers to comply with laws and regulations and societal norms applied in target countries and areas.
  2. Low environmental impact
      We are expecting our suppliers to provide us with low-impact components and materials conforming to our “Green procurement guideline”.
  3. Promotion to cost reduction (VA/VE activity)
    We are expecting our suppliers to conduct constantly cost-reduction activities for improvement.
  4. Quality, delivery and stable supply
    We are expecting our suppliers to comply with defined quality and delivery under stable provision, and to make a proper arrangement on change control (production stoppage and specification change).
  5. Implementation of lead time reduction
    We are expecting our suppliers to reduce the lead time to respond promptly and flexibly to changes in the market. 
  6. Stable management
    We are expecting our suppliers to run a sound and stable business for continuous transaction. Therefore, we ask our suppliers to disclose the management policy and financial condition.
  7. Technology
    We are expecting our suppliers to strive for technological improvement and innovation constantly.
  8. Information security
    We are expecting our suppliers to maintain secrecy about information obtained in our transaction. 
  9. Promotion of IT application
    We are expecting our suppliers to promote arrangement and application of  IT environment.
  10. Exclusion of antisocial sources
    We are asking our suppliers not to execute a trade with companies linked to antisocial sources.
