- A maximum of 30 CBC + CRP (Quality Control) results can be saved and printed from memory.
- SIMPLE MEASUREMENT WITH NO “PRE-PROCESSING” NEEDED
Multi-tube sample holder Perfect for emergency testing of various size sample containers. - Safe for Micro sample containers
WHOLE BLOOD, LOW VOLUME
Easy measurement with small 18 μL samples
ONE SYSTEM, DUAL PURPOSE;
Two measurements are taken within the same sample.
Blood cell counts and CRP concentration measurements, which used to require separate test samples and methods, can now be carried out simultaneously using the LC-178CRP on just a single blood sample. In addition, saving time and reducing costs (reagent costs, maintenance expenses, etc.), makes it possible to minimize the use of disposable containers.
CBC (WBC 3-PART DIFFERENTIAL) AND CRP CONCENTRATION MEASUREMENTS
The LC-178CRP can simultaneously measure up to 19 different parameters for CBC and CRP concentration. The White blood cell count is a direct measurement, which also gives a three-part differential measurement of (lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes) percentage and absolute values. With the ability of combining CRP measurement to a complete blood count, diagnosis and assessment of an illness will be more precise. The LC-178CRP is perfect for urgent testing and offers major benefits for conditions that require progressive observation, such as infection and inflammation.
WHOLE BLOOD, SMALL SAMPLE VOLUME
The LC-178CRP is capable of using a sample volume of 18μL of whole blood for CBC + CRP analysis and (10 μL of sample for CBC only). This small amount sample volume makes it possible perform a micro-sample extractions using micro-capillary and micro-container methods. This is an optimal solution for acquiring blood samples from children or from individuals who are difficult to extract normal venous blood from.
IMPORTANT: When using micro samples for analysis, collection techniques must be followed exactly as stated by the manufacturer. WBC three part differential and platelets may be inaccurately measured due to improper collection technique.
PREPROCESSING SAMPLES ARE NOT REQUIRED. OPTIMAL FOR EMERGENCIES
With the LC-178CRP, sample preparation, such as centrifugal separation and dilution before CRP measurement, as well as temperature adjustment, is not needed. Since measurement is possible immediately after collection of the blood sample, the LC-178CRP is perfect for emergency testing situations. Since the measurement operation is simple and easy, there is no need for a specialized staff for sample processing.
FAST and ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS [CBC+CRP mode: approximately 270 sec., CBC mode: approximately 75 sec.]
Since the LC-178CRP can complete its measurements within a relatively short time frame, accurate treatment can be performed on the spot.
Emergency response is greatest especially with children in whom conditions such as inflammation and infection can advance quickly and require urgent countermeasures.
INCREASED MEASUREMENT RANGE
Due to the development of new reagents, the LC-178CRP measurement range for CRP has been expanded. Measurement of high concentration samples of up to 20 mg/dL is now possible. Samples, which previously needed to be diluted, can now be measured accurately in a single analysis cycle, without dilution.
