NanoLED Controllers

Overview

HORIBA Jobin Yvon IBH now offers a choice of two NanoLED controllers. The first is a bench-top module suitable for stand-alone operation, and the second is our new software controlled plug-in card designed for use with the FluoroHub.

NanoLED-C

Bench-top controller shown with optional rack mounting wings.

The NanoLED-C controller's front panel controls include a repetition rate control with continuous adjustment over the range 1Hz to 1MHz, a synchronization delay control allowing quick adjustment of synchronization output relative to the optical pulse (range 0 to 50ns), and selection of synchronization modes. The rear panel includes the drive connector for the NanoLEDs, synchronization connections including NIM and TTL outputs and external input (optocoupled), and two auxiliary ±15V DC power outlets that can be used for powering external instruments such as detectors.

Hub-NL - NanoLED ControllerHub-NL

Our new new plug-in controller board features full software control via our Windows software. The Hub-NL features an extended sync delay range of 200ns.

For more information visit the FluoroHub Options page.

The Hub-NL is the only product of its kind suitable for embedded OEM applications and opens the door to a new generation of compact analytical instrumentation.

Features

  • Full compatibility with all NanoLEDs in the range, including violet and red laser diode versions.
  • Master and slave synchronization mode. In master mode the internal master oscillator determines the repetition rate, while in slave mode an external signal determines the repetition rate. NIM and TTL-compatible synchronization outputs are available in both modes of operation allowing use of the NanoLED in pump-probe arrangements.
  • Sync delay control - ideal for measuring nanosecond decays in reverse TAC mode.
  • 2m drive cable for connection to NanoLED heads.
