New drive concepts are changing the automotive landscape. Battery electric vehicles (BEV) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) have the highest commercial potential to provide emission-free transportation in the near future. In both applications, the drive torque is provided by an e-motor.
The use of e-motors in vehicle production has gained momentum in recent years and the development potential of these technologies is far from exhausted. In addition, there is a wide range of applications for the drives in the respective vehicle types, FCEV and BEV. In order to cover this technological diversity, a modular test bench system for testing traction electric motors is required to quickly adapt to the needs of the respective application.
In this webinar, HORIBA will explain the challenges and trends of e-motor test beds for propulsion motors. We will show how a modular test system design can help meet the requirements of strategic component development planning and a flexible integration of test setup components improves installation time and enhances your measuring results.
