In this webinar HORIBA will propose to use physical and simulated testing techniques to create Empirical Digital Twins.
In doing so provide a template to achieve sign-off confidence for the design, test and legal teams.
Regulations and customer use cases are becoming ever more complex. Resources are stretched across ICE and BEV. Therefore, it’s imperative that OEMs and component suppliers find efficient ways to ensure sufficient coverage during the sign-off stage. Products need to be able to meet the necessary requirements across an almost infinite combination of scenarios and regulatory permutations. Euro 7’s ‘any trip composition’ clause is just one example.
Doing physical testing alone to ensure conformity alone won’t be practical. So a new approach is required. Digital twins are common in production and building design. However, Empirical Digital Twins are relatively new. They use real measured data to build a highly accurate model, which in the case of HORIBA’s Intelligent Lab Suite, is a light-weight faster than real-time model which can run in co-simulation with vehicle models to provide accurate forecasts of performance, emissions and electric range.
In this webinar HORIBA will propose to use physical and simulated testing techniques to achieve the necessary coverage and provide a template to achieve sign-off confidence for the design, test and legal teams.
