Engineering Intern

Essential Job Functions:

  • Research hyperspectral reflectance spectroscopy 
  • Research the applications of hyperspectral spectrometers in industrial applications 
  • Test and troubleshoot the vendor hyperspectral software, along with testing the different data analysis methods provided 
  • Perform experiments to validate vendor Hyperspectral hardware and software
  • Analysis of software output data 


Skills/Experience Required:  

  • Bachelors in Physics or Engineering  background
  •  Proficient with data analysis methods  
  • Opto-mechanical and spectroscopy experience is a plus  
  • Proficient in MATLAB   
  • Experience with PLS and/or PCA is a plus (chemometrics)
