  • Description / Pathology :

    A population of normal red blood cells is uniform in size, color and shape.

    The central area of pallor occupies between 1/3 and 2/3 of the diameter of the red cell.

    The diameter of a normal cell is approximately the same as the nucleus of a small lymphocyte.
