Cybersecurity Specialist

We are looking for dynamic technologists to form part of the HORIBA MIRA growth strategy. Applicants will therefore demonstrate drive, determination and a desire to succeed.

Vehicle Resilience will develop innovative, multi-skilled, cross-discipline engineers with a team ethos and a desire to collaborate using new tools and methods. This opportunity is focused primarily on Automotive Cybersecurity, however the cross-discipline approach to Vehicle Resilience will allow successful applicants the opportunity to work on the safety and connectivity aspects of Vehicle Resilience also. Applicants will need to demonstrate high level skills in a number of key areas such as systems engineering, advanced verification development, software / product design and next-generation reporting including advanced metrics and data visualisation.

We offer full-system design, test and integration expertise to automotive, defence, rail and transport industries and also specialise in developing low carbon and autonomous and co-operative driving technologies.

Essential Experience for this role includes:-

Extensive experience in a relevant field is essential. Relevant fields include, but are not limited to:

  • Hands-on cybersecurity specialist in a high technology industry or within the automotive industry
  • Cybersecurity research specialist
  • Experience covering part periods across a number of applicable fields totalling the required period will also be considered.

  • Plan and prioritise delivery of both short and long duration projects

Essential Qualifications for this role include:-

  • GCSE English/Maths/Physics are essential
  • A Degree or PhD are preferred
  • Applicants below PhD level must demonstrate wide-ranging experience in a relevant field
