Key Responsibilities:

  • Carries out broad assignments involving the purchase of components for resale, capital equipment, and purchasing special or large technical equipment.
  • Develops current suppliers as well as identifying new supply sources.  
  • Negotiating with suppliers and structuring problem resolution within policy guidelines. 
  • Reconciliation of all non-conforming materials.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Requires working knowledge of internal business processes; material and production control, planning and scheduling; U.S. Customs tariffs and classification procedures.
  • Ability to read prints and understands machining processes.
  • Experience vendor sourcing, evaluating and development. 
  • Strong negotiation and computer skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience
