"I want to achieve my goal of competing in an Olympic Games. I don't want to have any regrets," said Naho Adachi upon choosing to continue to pursue archery as a working adult. As a university student, she was so talented that she won a bronze medal in the team competition during a world student archery championship, and she placed second in an all-Japan archery championship. Wishing to both work and do archery, she consulted with Hayashi, her coach on the university team, and decided to join HORIBA. Her present goal is to be chosen as a member of the 2020 Japanese archery team then participate in Tokyo Olympics to be held in the summer of 2020. Having developed a friendly rivalry with Hayashi, she is working hard to realize her dream.
