Mark Bumiller of HORIBA Scientific discusses drug delivery applications using nanoparticles. This talk will be useful for users of the HORIBA LA-950 or SZ-100 or for laser diffraction and dynamic light scattering in general.

Background: Nanoparticles used for drug delivery is an important research field combining the life sciences with nanotechnology. While the strict definition of a nanoparticle is between 1 – 100 nm, we can extend the upper size range in the context of this application up to approximately 500 nm.
