Panel-mount Type Residual Chlorine Meter (Four-Wire Transmission)

HR-480 industrial residual chlorine meter takes sequential measurements of free residual chlorine, which is an indicator used in the inspection of the anti-bacterial properties of drinking water and swimming pools.
The sensor(RS-1) combined with uses a galvanic method with no drive section, making it highly maintainable, and producing stable measurements over a long period.

  • Ideal for managing water quality, for example of drinking water or swimming pools The HR-480 takes sequential measurements of free residual chlorine, which is an indicator used in the inspection of the anti-bacterial properties of drinking water and swimming pools.
  • Uses a galvanic cell method The galvanic cell method makes the sensors more maintainable than the polarographic method, meaning that there is no need to polish the sensors, allowing them to be used semi-permanently.
  • Can be installed on the same cell as pH electrodes, ORP electrodes and temperature sensors (Option: Sampling Rack SS-2, SS-3) As well as residual chlorine sensors, pH, ORP electrodes and temperature sensors can also be installed on the same cell, making it possible to construct a low-cost system.
  • Span correction is possible when measuring fluids with low concentrations Correction work can be carried out easily on-site, with no need to prepare a separate high-concentration correction fluid.
  • Uses lead-free solder To reduce the burden on the environment, lead-free solder has been used to mount the components on the printed circuit board.
