1. Adoption of Solar Energy - Powering HORIBA India facilities with Clean Energy

  • HORIBA India Nagpur Facility boasts 720KW solar capacity
  • HORIBA India Technical Center, Pune possess a 100KW solar capacity. This together generates 25% of total power consumption at these factories significantly reducing the carbon footprint.

2. Water Conservation - Rainwater Harvesting for Groundwater Recharge and STP-Treated Water Reuse.

  • Rainwater harvesting systems across HORIBA India facilities to recharge ground water and local aquifers, contributing to the sustainability of the region's water supply.
  • Treatment and re-usage of STP (Sewage Treatment Plan) treated water that caters to the consumption requirements.

Capacity of Rainwater Harvesting Systems at HORIBA India facilities: 90,000 liters/year

3. Tree Plantation as Gratitude

  • Plantation of three saplings for sale of each 3 part Hematology Analyzer Micros ES60 contributes to offsetting carbon emissions, promoting bio diversity and supporting a greener environment.
  • 180 saplings planted till date under this initiative while reducing the carbon footprint.
