CPA accreditation requirements state that all point of care (POC) analyzers are password protected to ensure only trained personnel have access and full audit trails are obtainable for patient safety purposes. In addition, the availability of secure remote bidirectional access to POC analyzers is a key requirement to enable managers to easily and effectively monitor their use.
