Genomics

What is Genomics?

Genomics is a fast-expanding branch of life sciences dedicated to the study of defining genomes, or the complete set of DNA sequences, in a more specific way. Over the last two decades, genomics undergone major developments because of recent advances in gene sequencing and screening technologies. As a consequence, experts in genomics can perform genetic mapping to improve people health and understand better diseases.

HORIBA offers a large choice of innovative technologies such as Surface Plasmon Resonance Imaging, Raman Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy and Ellipsometry to support a wide range of genomics applications.
