Metastasis
- Size : Large, 20-30 µm
- Normal values : Absent in the blood
- Description / Pathology :
Large size cell, round nucleus, lacy chromatin sometimes with nucleolus, basophilic cytoplasm, with non-hematopoietic appearance.
Melanoma: search for melanin pigments: intense black granulation in tumor cells and in the macrophages infiltrating the tumor.Non hematopoietic neoplasia (e.g. melanoma).
