Tunable Laser Gas Analyzer TX-100
Overview
The TX-100 Tunable Laser Gas Analyzer simultaneously measures the hydrogen chloride and H2O of the stack gas. Since the single probe method is applied in the optical system of the analyzer, TX-100 can be mounted from one side of the stack. Through this way of installation, several advantages are brought such as excellent performance caused by stabilization of optical axis and easy replacement for an existing analyzer as well as achievement of low cost of ownership. In addition, HORIBA’s unique calibration function enables calibration work without removing the TX-100 from the stack which makes maintenance simpler. TX-100 is suitable for controlling and monitoring of HCl in various industries including refuse incineration facilities, petrochemical plants, or cement factories, etc.
Features
Single probe type optical system
- Both the laser and the receiver are installed at the same side of the stack
- Just one flange installation is sufficient for the setup
- Easy replacement for an existing analyzer requires no additional work
- Implements calibration while the probe remains inserted into the stack
- The function to correct continuous moistrue supports high accuracy measurement
HORIBA’s original calibration mechanism
By HORIBA's original calibration system, HCl calibration work can be implemented regardless of the facility's operation status. Auto zero point checking enables stable measurement over a long period of time.
・ Patent acquired:
US patent No. 8934101; China patent No. ZL201280039440.7; Japan patent No.6386607
・ Patent pending: Europe
<Measurement>
Zero point checking and measurement are conducted alternately
<Calibration>
Calibration is conducted after span gas is introduced to the calibration cell.
Calibration is completed leaving the probe attached in the stack.
For TX-100, the data management can be selectable from types including Analysis unit display, HMI (Human Machine Interfce) unit, or PC-HMI software.

Measurement Techniques
How does the probe type optical system work?
From the same location in the analyzer, the light source and detector are attached to a probe which is inserted into the stack. A mirror installed at the tip of the probe receives and reflects the laser light through the probe, back to the detector.
