Conformity of Production (COP) testing is a required part of the type approval process. COP testing is used to determine the OEM's ability to produce a series of products according to specifications defined within the type approval documentation. The aim of this is to ensure consistent quality throughout the production process.
Laboratories for Conformity of Production testing require a high level of flexibility due to continuously changing test requirements. Testing processes, which are both flexible and highly precise are key to ensuring smooth operations.
Digital laboratory and data automation systems support the complex processes in COP laboratories. They enable the testing team to keep track of all tasks, their current status, and support the testing with pre-defined workflows.
Digital test jobs can be created directly by the customer or by the test engineers. All necessary specifications, artifacts, orders and the complete planning will be saved within the projects.
