This webinar will emphasize on challenges for the future automotive requirements for heavy duty and non-road mobile machinery applications.
The automotive industry is currently confronted with massive changes on the way to carbon neutral propulsion systems. While light duty focuses mainly on the transition to electrified vehicles, alternative fuels like H2, NH3 or biofuels will play a significant role for the heavy duty and non-road mobile machinery sectors in the near and medium term. In addition to that, upcoming regulations like EU7 or CN7 introduce lower emission limits and additional pollutants like N2O of NMOG, that provide new challenges.
To give an answer to these challenges, HORIBA has developed a new solution for accurate and reliable measurement of all future regulated components with one single analyzer unit. The unit is designed for flexible use in a test cell as well as under real driving conditions and also under harsh conditions like strong vibrations or fluctuations in ambient pressure and temperature conditions.
This webinar will emphasize on challenges for the future automotive requirements. Different methods for exhaust gas measurement will be compared regarding their applicability for future automotive applications. Additionally, our new laser-based system will be described in detail, including performance tests and behavior under harsh conditions. Finally, results from engine test cycles will be shown and interpreted.
