OEM Manufacturing Cell Supervisor

Essential Job Functions: 

  •  Directly supervises 5-6 employees while performing Hands-On manufacturing tasks in a Clean Room environment.
  •  Evaluate the performance of Product Assembly, Inspection, and Test Results.
  •  Experience using SAP, making ADP labor transactions, and usin a Bar Code scanner for inventory transactions. 
  • Monitor stock levels of WIP. 
  • Establish monthly/weekly/daily production schedules. 
  • Monitor production goals achievement daily/weekly. 
  • Diagnose production issues, debug, and document processes.
  • Monitor timely reject handling and work with a Quality rep and Production Engineering on issues. 

 

Skills/Experience Required: 

  • Able to work in a team environment. 
  • Must be able to perform fine optical alignments. 
  • Attention to details required. 
  • Lift heavy equipment to 50 lbs occasionally. 
  • Must be able to follow written procedures, and work instructions and adhere to strict ESD policy. 
  • Optical alignment experience and background in electronics or high vacuum are a plus.
  • Two or more years of experience as a Line Lead/Cell Supervisor.
  • Previous experience in staffing a team and have good interviewing skills. 
  • Be able to train others to work instructions.
  • Write performance appraisals.
