Sales Support Engineer

The Sales Support Engineer will provide sales and technical support for HORIBA’s fluid control, metrology and chemical concentration products involved in numerous manufacturing processes, primarily the semiconductor manufacturing process, to existing and potential customers located within the territory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the sales of HORIBA’s line-up of analytical equipment, fluid control and measuring systems involved in the manufacturing processes of Semiconductors, Photovoltaic Cells, Fibre Optics, etc. throughout Europe, the Middle East and Russia.
  • Provide internal sales support to the wider Semicon team to include working on quotations, documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through technical and urgent customer support ensuring their concerns are fully met, escalating to senior team members where necessary.
  • Supply general information such as brochures, manuals etc and inform customers throughout the order process i.e lead times and order status.
  • Provide technical support on products to customers.
  • Support the sales and marketing initiatives and assist with newsletters.
  • Answering questions from regional sales, distributors, and end customers regarding lead times.
  • Coordinating with principals to prioritise delivery dates.
  • Generate reports for data analysis for the Semicon team.

Skills and Experience;

Essential

• Knowledge of Microsoft products - Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• An extended knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables.

Preferred

• A Scientific or technical background
• Knowledge of SAP
• Multilingual (preferred but not essential) - preferably either German or French
• Sales and negotiation Skills
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process (front end)
