Orthochromatic erythroblast
- Size : 10 µm
- Normal values : Rare in the blood
- Description / Pathology :
Round cell of 10 µm, with small round nucleus and dense chromatin. Cytoplasm is acquiring the same color as red blood cells.
Present in the blood in case of erythromyelemia in myelofibrosis.
The presence is physiological on the newborn bloods.
