Upcoming Webinar

Bloody Brilliant Haematology - Diagnostics for Veterinary Teams

Accurate blood analysis plays a critical role in diagnosing disease, monitoring progression, and assessing response to treatment, helping clinicians make confident, timely decisions for their patients.

In this webinar, Kostas Papasouliotis DVM PhD DipECVCP MRCVS will explore the principles of good haematology testing and its practical application in everyday veterinary settings. The session will cover how blood cells are produced, how to recognise normal and abnormal cell numbers and morphology, and how both manual and automated blood cell counting systems are used in practice. Attendees will also learn when further investigation is needed and when it’s time to consult a friendly expert.

His extensive experience of working in commercial and clinical settings in the UK and beyond gives a unique perspective, enabling GP and specialist practitioners, nurses and technicians to make the right choices for high-quality, accurate analysis in terms of technical requirements, suitability and cost-effectiveness for your needs.

Through real-world case examples, practical tips, and an interactive discussion, this presentation will provide valuable insights for clinicians at all stages of their career, with clear take-aways that can be applied immediately in practice.

The presentation will be followed by an open Q&A session with Kostas.

It is to be held on Tuesday, 14th April, 7.30-9pm, veterinary teams can find out more and register to attend for free here.
