Panel-mount Type Conductivity Meter (Four-Wire Transmission, For Wide Range)

HE-960HI is a wide-range type sanitary electric conductivity meter that can measure over a wide range from manufacturing water up to 500 mS/cm, and enables advanced concentration management through abundant outputs. It connects conductivity sensor (FES-220/310). Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) terminal management and a reduction in cleaning solutions is also achieved through accurate surface detection.
And we have developed a lineup of electric conductivity sensors that can be used in conjunction, from the conventional insertion type to the flow-through type with improved cleaning and sanitary properties.

Measuring range

Conductivity: 0 - 200 mS/cm
Temperature: 0.0 - 100.0 ℃

Division: Process Water
Manufacturing Company: HORIBA Advanced Techno Co., Ltd.

  • Simultaneous 4-channel output
Advanced concentration management is possible through simultaneous 3-channel output of low, middle, and high concentrations, etc.
  • Five contact alarms
  • Input signal can apply for analog output range selection
  • Including nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide, and 2 user-specified types, the concentration of a total of 5 types of chemical solutions can be output
  • Built-in Communications Function (RS-485)
HE-960HI is equipped with an RS-485 interface to allow you to check measurements and check / change the set points from a remote location.

Transmission outputNumber of output points: 4
4 mA to 20 mA DC: input/output isolated type
Maximum load resistance: 900 Ω
Transmission output range: Freely selectable within the measurement range
(Negative terminals of each transmission output channel are connected inside and thus have the same electric potential.)
For Cur4, the transmission output can be changed by external input.
Contact outputNumber of outputs points: 5
Alarm contact output (R1 to R4)
Contact type: Relay contact, SPST (1a)
 Contact capacity: 240 V AC, 1 A and 30 V DC, 1 A (resistance load)
Contact function: Selectable from the upper/lower limit action (ON/OFF control), delay, and hysteresis
Contact action: closed during control operation (error setting), opened normally and while the power is down
(However, R1 and R2, R3 share the COMMON contacts respectively.)
Anomaly alarm output (RF)
Contact type: Relay contact, SPDT (1c)
 Capacity: 240 V AC, 1 A and 30 V DC, 1 A (resistance load)
Contact function: Selectable from error, anomaly alarm, and maintenance.
Contact action: When the C-NO contact is used, it is closed during the normal operation or opened when an error occurs (including the case where the power is turned OFF).
(The C-NC contact acts inversely to the C-NO contact.)
(However, R4 and RF share the COMMON contacts respectively.)
Contact inputNumber of input points: 2
Contact status: Type-A contact with open collector being of no-voltage
Contact functions: Transmission output range selection and external input for Hold
(Select either “Transmission 4 range selected” or “Transmission 2 range selected + Hold”)
The RS-485 input/output
Calibration functionConductivity: Based on the specified compensation coefficient for the cell constant (parameter input)
Temperature: Calibrated by comparing with the reference thermometer
