Modern Raman spectroscopy is ideally suited to QC/QA measurements, reaction control and industrial process monitoring.
It offers a robust, non-destructive, non-contact method of analysis suitable for both lab based and plant based applications. The high information content of the Raman spectrum provides a unique fingerprint with which to identify and monitor chemical components, reactions and processes.
Remote in-situ monitoring is possible through the use of fiber optic linked Raman probes and microscopes.
