Semiconductors are the key evolving components in the industry today. HORIBA has kept its sights keenly focused on this micro world and provides rewarding careers in Sales and Marketing, Research and Development, Production, and Operations.  Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for a Manufacturing Technician to test liquid flow products in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Function test Liquid Flow Products (Injection Valves/Liquid Vaporizers)
  • Troubleshooting failures found during testing.
  • Repair Liquid Flow Products through piece part assembly.
  • Calibrate Liquid Vaporizers.
  • Follow planning schedule to meet customer deadlines.
  • Keep an accurate record of testing results and process steps completed.
  • Clean the cleanroom.
  • Assists with maintaining of equipment calibration system.
  • Assists with creation/improvement of work instructions documents.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge:

Requires general electrical assembly experience and advanced knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles.  Knowledge of cleanroom protocols is required.   Basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are required.  Incumbent typically has a high school diploma, certification from a technical school or equivalent experience.  Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office Programs.
