LabRAM ARAMIS
Overview
The LabRAM ARAMIS incorporates Intelligent Automation to provide easy computer controlled operation for quality control, analytical and research applications alike. It maintains the market leading flexibility and performance of the LabRAM series to provide the most comprehensive fully automated analytical tool available.
Features
Intelligent Automation
The Intelligent Automation of the LabRAM ARAMIS offers complete ease of use – and yet, this is achieved without compromise in performance and research flexibility:
- Confocal pinhole – fast, motorised control of the true confocal aperture enables spatial resolution and throughput to be optimised for specific measurements.
- Notch Filter Selection - the motorized notch filter selector enables 4 laser wavelengths to be changed with speed and expands fast multi-wavelength operation into a new dimension - no limits or restrictions.
- QUAD Grating Turret - the 4 position QUAD grating turret not only selects the most efficient grating for the spectral range (from UV to NIR), it also enables spectral resolution to be selected to achieve a desired spectral band separation.
- Spectral resolution, sensitivity and speed of acquisition can be quickly and simply optimized for each sample.
- XYZ mapping stage – fast, precise sample movement allows high definition depth profiles and mapped images to be obtained with ease.
True confocal performance
The LabRAM ARAMIS has a true confocal pinhole with user controlled variable aperture. Unlike pseudo-confocal configurations (e.g., slit-binning methods) the confocal pinhole fully matches the laser spot and provides the highest spatial resolution with maximum signal throughput.
UV, visible and NIR capability
The LabRAM ARAMIS can be configured with the unique Dual Path Optics to allow UV-visible-NIR sensitivity without compromise. Unlike achromat (lens) based systems the Dual Path Optics offers fast, simple switching between UV and VIS/NIR regions. No adjustment or alignment is required.
Fast Raman imaging
With the SWIFT™ and DuoScan™ fast Raman imaging technologies the LabRAM ARAMIS allows the collection of large area Raman images in the matter of seconds/minutes. The unique combination of innovative optics, detectors and software combine to provide true confocal Raman imaging with an unmatched speed of data acquisition.
Combined Raman-FTIR
The combination of Raman and FTIR offers the researcher complete vibrational characterisation on a single microscope platform. SameSpot™ technology ensures that optical, Raman and FTIR images are generated from the exact same sample position.
