Light Measurement
Photometers
Photometers are specifically designed to measure emitted, reflected or transmitted light in photometric terms of luminous flux, luminance, illuminance or luminous intensity. They utilize a single detector - usually a photomultiplier tube or silicon detector - and a filter that changes the system response to match the photopic function recommended by the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (International Commission on Illumination). They report the brightness of a light as observed by a standard human eye.
Measurements of displays typically require results in luminance (cd/m² or footlamberts). Our photometers feature the patented Pritchard optical system to clearly and unambiguously define the area to be measured.

Hand held photometer with accessories for luminance (cd/m²) and illuminance (Lux) and the capability to make colour measurements.
Portable battery powered, measuring from 380-780nm using a 256 pixel detector and also contains a PMT photometer for low light level measurements. The two detectors use the same optics so measurement location repeatability is ensured.
Like the PR-680 it measures from 380-780nm using a 256 pixel detector and also contains an ultra sensitive PMT photometer for low light level measurements. The two detectors use the same optics so measurement location repeatability is ensured.
