Spectroradiometers

Most modern spectroradiometers are designed to measure the absolute spectral quantity, in terms of power, of the light under test by breaking up the broad band incoming optical signal into it's component parts by means of a diffraction grating - much like a prism. The diffracted light is then imaged onto a multi-element detector. Each detector element in turn samples it's own part of the diffracted spectrum. In addition to the measured spectral data, luminance, CIE chromaticity values, reflectance and transmittance are readily obtained from the spectral information.

Our  spectroradiometers are designed to measure radiance (watts/steradian/square meter) utilizing the patented Pritchard optics to collect the incoming optical radiation. Their ease-of-use, accuracy and reliability has made this product family the most widely used. Our spectroradiometer range includes a comprehensive range of accessories allowing them to address virtually any light measurement application.

PR655 - Spectroradiometer

Portable battery powered, measuring from 380 – 780nm using a 128 pixel detector. Replaces the PR-650 with a host of user interface and sensitivity improvements.

PR670 - Spectroradiometer

Portable battery powered spectroradiometer measuring from 380 - 780nm using a 256 pixel detector. Includes 4 automated apertures fiving a range of measurement sizes.

PR680 - Spectroradiometer

Portable battery powered, measuring from 380-780nm using a 256 pixel detector and also contains a PMT photometer for low light level measurements. The two detectors use the same optics so measurement location repeatability is ensured.

PR680L - Spectroradiometer

Like the PR-680 it measures from 380-780nm using a 256 pixel detector and also contains an ultra sensitive PMT photometer for low light level measurements. The two detectors use the same optics so measurement location repeatability is ensured.

PR730 - Spectroradiometer

The newest in the long established line of SpectraScans with enhanced sensitivity, additional apertures and twice the number of pixels. It features a powerful user interface and USB control. Wavelength range 380-780nm.

PR735 - Spectroradiometer

Similar to the PR-730 but with near infra red capability (380-1100 nm)

PR-705

Contains a highly sensitive cooled detector to measure over the 380-780nm range. Can measure sources as small as 0.02mm.

PR715 - Spectroradiometer

Similar to the PR-705 but with near infra red capability (380-1068 nm)

spectrascan PR650

This industry standard workhorse, spectrascan PR650 has now been superceded by the PR-655 and PR-670
