Pulsed Diode
If you are using a nanosecond flashlamp and don't need to excite below 370nm, then our new NanoLED excitation sources can reduce your measurement times by several orders of magnitude. Clever design means the NanoLED sources can be mounted directly to the entrance slit of your excitation monochromator for minimal coupling losses, and we can supply an appropriate coupling flange if necessary. The sources can also be coupled to the sample compartment, and adjustable optics assemblies are available to allow the use of polarisers (motorised and manual) and filters.
Connecting the NanoLED to your existing timing electronics (e.g. TAC) could not be simpler. The NanoLED controller generates it's own NIM synchronisation pulse for connection directly to the TAC, and the flashlamp's start detector and discriminator are not used.
